Singer Choi Min-hwan, who fainted during a performance, personally shared an update.
On the 3rd, Choi Min-hwan posted on a fan community platform, "I've never collapsed since debuting until now, so you were very surprised, right? To be honest, I was very shocked too."
Earlier, on the 31st of last month, Choi Min-hwan, who took the stage at the "2026 First Music Station" held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi Province, suddenly lost consciousness and collapsed, and a substitute musician present at the scene was brought in to finish the performance.
In response, Choi Min-hwan said, "I wasn't feeling well, but I didn't know it would be to that extent. I'm recovering well now, eating and resting properly, so you don't need to worry too much."
He added, "I'll return to my original condition soon and show you me energetically playing the drums again! I'm sorry to the fans who were shocked and the audience who came, and thank you to the festival officials who were worried!"
Regarding this, the agency FNC Entertainment Co. explained, "Choi Min-hwan showed temporary exhaustion symptoms during the performance and was examined by medical staff, and it has been confirmed that there is currently no major problem with his health," adding, "He is currently taking sufficient rest and stabilization, and we are continuously monitoring his recovery."
