Yang Yoseop released the Poem, Cinema and Jewel version concept photos for his third solo mini album Unloved Echo (언러브드 에코) on Highlight's official social media from 0:00 on the 2nd through the 4th.
In the first-released Poem version photos, Yang Yoseop draws attention with a wistful yet pure mood in the dawn bathed in gentle sunlight. In another setting, wearing a black suit and holding a wilting sunflower, he emits soft charisma, creating a dramatic contrast.
In the following Cinema version, Yang Yoseop's darker, more turbulent emotional line dominated the screen. From shots capturing the moment water is spilled from a glass to objects shaped like a broken wing and a scene submerged in a bathtub, it creates an immersion like watching a film. In particular, Yang Yoseop vividly conveyed the emptiness after a breakup with eyes soaked in loss and a deep atmosphere.
In the final Jewel version, Yang Yoseop conveyed delicate sensibility with minimal white-and-black styling. His strong aura, which remains evident even in monochrome tones, combines with restrained expressions and gestures to leave a deep resonance.
In this solo album Unloved Echo, released about 4 years and 5 months since his last, Yang Yoseop sings about the lingering traces of a love that disappears like the fade-out ending of a film and the echo that still rings in the heart. In particular, he solely wrote the title track "Fade Away" (옅어져 가) and took charge of writing, composing and arranging the songs "Don't leave" (떠나지 마요) and "Every night" (매일 밤), showing a deeper musical color as a solo artist.
Yang Yoseop's third solo mini album Unloved Echo will be released at 6 p.m. on the 9th through various online music platforms.
