Actor Park Geun-hyeong mentioned fellow actors who passed away before him.
On the 3rd, KBS1's Morning Yard 'Tuesday guest seat' featured Park Geun-hyeong and Oh Man-seok.
That day, announcer Eom Ji-in referred to the recent successive obituaries of veteran actors Lee Soon-jae and Yoon So-jung and asked about Park Geun-hyeong's condition. In response, Park Geun-hyeong said, "Now that everyone has passed away, it seems my turn has come."
He continued, "The seats behind those who have passed feel empty, and before I knew it I seem to have stepped into that place," and added, "I have to work harder for those who have passed."
Park Geun-hyeong had previously expressed his grief for the late Lee Soon-jae several times. During an appearance on Radio Star in May last year, he said, "I tried to visit him in the hospital, but he said, 'Let's see each other when you get better.' I never got to see him," expressing regret at not being able to say a final goodbye, which moved listeners.
Meanwhile, Lee Soon-jae passed away on Nov. 25, 2025. He was 91. Yoon So-jung also died in 2017, leaving successive voids among veteran actors.<
