Health trainer Yang Chi-seung shared news that he has become an office worker.
Yang Chi-seung uploaded a video titled 'Yang Chi-seung, why ignore working hours after getting a salary?' on his YouTube channel "Yang Chi-seung's MakTube" on the 1st.
In the video, Yang Chi-seung said, "I've been busy lately. Because I became an office worker. I have to go early in the morning and finish late at night, so my personality isn't the typical office-worker style where working hours are exactly like this — I work excessively and that makes me happy, so whether I work 12 hours or 15 hours, even if the same salary comes out, I will work and I don't pay much attention to working hours."
About the differences between his time as a CEO and as an office worker, he recalled, "Workwise it's somewhat similar, and one other thing is that having someone above me is the biggest difference. Not long ago we had a new year's gathering and company dinner, and because the CEO was there I felt like I had handcuffs on with both hands. For several hours I kept doing something with both hands."
Yang Chi-seung said, "I ran a gym for 25 years and I never worked as an office worker before, so you could say this is my first time as an office worker in my life. It's the first time I've officially signed an employment contract and worked as an office worker. The job itself is sales and community facilities. Sales brings a lot of contacts and many meetings, so it's not bad."
He continued, "I'm now 53, and this is my first job at 53. So I think I have to work harder, and I want to show results quickly."
On his mindset as an office worker, he said, "There is an employment contract, right? I don't really care about that. If there's work to do afterward, I'll do it. My mindset is still that of an owner; my title is office worker but my mind is working as the owner."
He added, "After work I do sales. I do sales to more people and promote our company, and if good results come out it's good for the company and good for me," adding, "I only know how to work. If I can keep having meetings or work after work, I'm happier."
Meanwhile, Yang Chi-seung mentioned recent news of Kim Woo-bin and Shin Mina's marriage on last month's KBS2 "Marja Show," saying, "Woobin knew I was having a hard time, so he didn't invite me to the wedding," drawing attention.
