Actor Ko A Sung parted ways with Artist Company as she left the care of Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woosung.
On the 3rd, OSEN reported that Ko A Sung's exclusive contract with her agency Artist Company recently expired, and both sides ended their management relationship while wishing each other well in their future endeavors.
Earlier, Ko A Sung signed an exclusive contract with Artist Company in 2017, then moved to KeyEast, and returned to Artist Company in 2020 to continue her acting career. However, this winter she left the company instead of renewing her contract and is reportedly currently seeking a new agency. With this, she has left the care of Artist Company leaders Lee Jung-jae and Jung Woosung, with whom she had a long relationship.
Ko A Sung is scheduled to appear in the new Netflix film Pavanne, which will be released this month. The film follows three people who had closed their hearts and, by becoming light for one another, confront life and love; she worked with Byun Yo-Han and Moon Sang Min. Ko A Sung gave an intense performance as Mi-jung, who works in a department store's basement storage to avoid people's uncomfortable stares, and she made a significant visual transformation, raising expectations for the finished work.
Meanwhile, Ko A Sung, who debuted as a child actor in 2004, has appeared in dramas such as drama 'God of Study', 'I Heard It Through the Grapevine', 'Life on Mars', 'Tracer', and films including Monster, Snowpiercer, Elegant Lies, Office, The Resistance: Ahn Jung-geun Story, Samjin Company English TOEIC Team, and Because I Hate Korea. Through Bong Joon-ho's Monster, she won the Best New Actress award at the 27th Blue Dragon Film Awards as the youngest recipient.
