ILLIT (Yuna, Minju, Moka, Wonhee, Iroha) released the first episode of season 3 of SUPER ILLIT, titled "Is it possible to take ILLIT on a day trip to Fukuoka?", on the team's official YouTube channel on the 2nd.
Season 3 of SUPER ILLIT, returning after about nine months, announced a powerful start with a surprise camera for ILLIT. Thinking they had gathered to film a new season teaser, they were stunned when they saw the phrase "Japan Fukuoka day trip" and were left speechless. When the production team then said, "Only 30 minutes remain before departure from the airport," the members realized it was real and hurried into action.
ILLIT was ecstatic about the unexpected trip. In particular, Moka could not hide her excitement when she arrived in her hometown of Fukuoka with the members. Wonhee energized the mood with overflowing enthusiasm by singing their debut song "Magnetic" to a local taxi driver who recognized them.
But their journey was not smooth. Members who moved separately went to the wrong destinations and had to overcome various twists and turns to regroup, and they later realized that they had left the funds provided by production in Korea. The production team then decided on the spot to award pocket money if they completed a mission to create an ending song for SUPER ILLIT. The five members instantly divided duties for beat, harmonies and sound effects, and with perfect harmony completed the cute "super ILLIT song," continuing the trip in high spirits.
The next story of ILLIT's Fukuoka day trip will be released at 9 p.m. on the 9th. SUPER ILLIT is self-produced content that depicts ILLIT's challenge to become "zzang" in all fields, not just singing and performance. Season 3 captures the five members' bumpy growth in variety shows.
ILLIT has been chosen to perform the opening theme song "Bubee" for the Japanese TV animation "Magical sisters Rurutoriri," scheduled to air in April. Based on their bubbly tones and trendy sensibility, they are covering OSTs across various fields such as animation, film and variety shows.
