Jennie and Dex carry out their manitto's first mission amid a hair-trigger moment.
The new MBC variety show Manitto Club (directed by Kim Tae-ho), which premieres tonight (the 1st) at 6:10 p.m., is an Undercover real variety show with the concept of a gathering of people who know how to share one thing into two. Jennie, Dex, Choo Sung Hoon, Ro Hong-chul and Lee Suji appear, and they are expected to carry out missions in which they secretly deliver gifts to their manittos.
The released first pre-release video showed Jennie driving herself and heading toward her manitto, Dex. Jennie adds interest by showing herself carefully making a plan to deliver the first gift while concealing her identity.
At the same time, Dex was briefing a plan to deliver a gift to his manitto, Choo Sung Hoon, while eating pork cutlet. Jennie, having tracked Dex's movements and arrived nearby, repeatedly panicked when she was at risk of being exposed and provoked laughs with her somewhat clumsy demeanor. Jennie said it felt like a secret agent and showed nervousness at the not-easy manitto activities.
In particular, the moment Dex left the pork cutlet shop, Jennie arrived in front of the restaurant and a hair-trigger situation unfolded. Flustered, Jennie quickly turned the car around, got out immediately, and, hiding her identity in black Undercover fashion, approached Dex cautiously.
Dex was also in his car to deliver a gift to Choo Sung Hoon. At that moment, a tense scene was produced as Jennie brushed past right in front of him. Mistakenly thinking Dex was inside the gym, Jennie cautiously looked around saying, "I think he's over there," heightening curiosity about whether Jennie can successfully deliver the first gift without being exposed.
MBC's Manitto Club, starring Jennie, Dex, Choo Sung Hoon, Ro Hong-chul and Lee Suji, premieres today (the 1st) at 6:10 p.m. on Sunday. Competing in the same time slot are SBS' Running Man and KBS2's 2 Days & 1 Night.
