Singer Snoop Dogg's 10-month-old granddaughter, Cody, has died.
On the 31st (local time), according to U.S. entertainment outlet TMZ, Snoop Dogg's only daughter, Cori Broadus, announced the sad news that day. Along with the announcement, Cori released a photo of herself beaming and lovingly holding her daughter Cody in her arms.
Cori said that Cody, who was "the love of my life," passed away on Monday.
Broadus said Cody was born three months premature, and that Cody spent most of the following 10 months in the neonatal intensive care unit.
But just three weeks ago, Broadus shared a photo of her and Cody resting comfortably in bed and said God had answered all prayers.
Cody's father, Wayne Deuce, left a heartfelt tribute to his daughter. He wrote on social media, "I will always be with my daughter."
