'Honor: Her Court' revealed a breathless day for the trio of lawyers, Lee Na-young, Jung Eun-Chae, and Lee Chung-ah, one day before the first broadcast.
The cable channel ENA Monday-Tuesday drama 'Honor: Her Court' (written by Park Ga-yeon, directed by Park Geon-ho) is a mystery pursuit about three female lawyers who face a returned past head-on as it becomes a massive scandal. In the released still cuts, the women crime victim–specialized law firm L&J (Listen & Join)'s Yoon Ra-young (Lee Na-young), Kang Shin-jae (Jung Eun-Chae), and Hwang Hyun-jin (Lee Chung-ah) are in the midst of a battlefield where every moment is a series of attack and defense.
First, Yoon Ra-young is seated at the live debate desk of a news program. Dressed in a neat white suit and with unwavering eyes that may seem composed, the situation is not easy. Sharp questions and attacks from the opposing panel are coming. In this setting where a single word or expression becomes a strategy, Yoon Ra-young's intense response as L&J's external messenger standing before the public will be depicted.
Kang Shin-jae's day also looks far from peaceful. A red scrawl remains clearly on the windshield of a parked car, a situation presumed to be an overt warning and pressure from someone. While Seong Tae-im (Kim Mi-sook), head of the country's largest law firm Haeil and a mother, and the executives show signs of surprise, a key point to watch is what stance she, a character who chooses to confront rather than avoid threats, will take.
Hwang Hyun-jin is in the courtroom. She firmly stays by the side of a trembling victim and casts a resolute look at the perpetrator's side. In this setting, Hwang Hyun-jin is not simply a lawyer who fights with logic; if it's to protect a person, she never backs down, and as situations become rougher her actions grow larger, revealing her passionate energy.
Thus, from the first broadcast, the three lawyers' intense daily lives unfold, moving public opinion, confronting invisible pressure, and ardently defending in the middle of the courtroom. Their personalities, abilities, and ways of working differ, but they share one thing: in lives where they cannot let their guard down for a moment, they strive with all their might to protect someone's honor. The producers said, "The reason these three lawyers live so fiercely is closely tied to the mystery and truth they will pursue. From the first episode, the massive scandal gradually surfaces. Please join the fierce and exciting survival story of the three lawyers who will confront it head-on."
'Honor: Her Court' is based on a Swedish drama of the same name and will premiere on the 2nd at 10 p.m.
