FTISLAND drummer Choi Min-hwan collapsed onstage from exhaustion and is taking a break.
Agency FNC Entertainment Co. said on Jan. 31 on Weverse that "during today's '2026 First Music Station' performance, FTISLAND member Choi Min-hwan showed poor condition and will be taking a break."
The agency added, "Choi was examined by medical staff for temporary dehydration symptoms, and it was confirmed there are no major issues with his health," and "he is getting sufficient rest and stability, and we are continuously checking his recovery."
The agency also said, "We ask for your understanding for causing fans concern," and "going forward, we will do our best to monitor the artist's health more closely and run performances more prudently."
Choi Min-hwan collapsed at the '2026 First Music Station' held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi, on Jan. 31. The concert was then completed with on-site session musicians.
Meanwhile, FTISLAND, which debuted in 2007, signed a renewal contract with FNC Entertainment Co. on Jan. 29.
