Actress Shin Sae-kyeong confessed that she made a glamorous debut as the model for a Seo Taiji poster but considered quitting after offers stopped coming.
On the afternoon of the 1st, a video titled "And is Sae-kyeong really a scary person? ㅠ" was uploaded to the "Yeojeong Jaehyung" channel.
Shin Sae-kyeong, who debuted in 1998 as the poster model for singer Seo Taiji's "Take 5," entered the entertainment industry at the age of 8. She began at a young age and received great spotlight, but she often failed auditions and experienced frustration, and she got another chance when she was cast as the child lead in the SBS drama "Land" broadcast in 2005.
Shin Sae-kyeong said, "When I was in the third year of middle school I got the good opportunity of 'Land,' but after that work stopped again, so I worked part-time selling school uniforms," and she added, "I thought, 'This isn't my path. I should do something else,' so I worked selling school uniforms, and then I was contacted for a project that turned out to be the MBC drama 'Queen Seondeok.'"
She smiled and said, "After that I did 'Queen Seondeok' and 'High Kick Through the Roof' in succession, and fortunately I couldn't find another path."
However, Shin Sae-kyeong recalled at the time, "'Queen Seondeok' was too hard. It was really so hard that after going through that kind of hardship, most things become comfortable."
