"To My Beloved Thief" the ever-bright expression of Nam Ji-hyun falls into shadow.
Today (1st) at 9:20 p.m., the KBS 2TV weekend drama "To My Beloved Thief" (written by Lee Seon, directed by Ham Young-gul) episode 10 depicts the precarious actions of Hong Eun-jo (played by Nam Ji-hyun), who lost her beloved father Hong Min-jik (played by Kim Seok-hoon).
Born to a noble father and a commoner mother, the ice-woman Hong Eun-jo always lived brightly and spiritedly despite the family's poverty, because she grew up in her father's steadfast belief that all people are precious regardless of status and in her mother's caring embrace, becoming a kind and warm person.
However, Hong Eun-jo's daily life was shaken more than ever by her father's sudden death. In particular, Hong Eun-jo, who instantly lost her smile, picked up the king's arrow that had been stuck in her father and stunned everyone by drawing the bowstring toward the king below the cliff.
Fortunately, the worst outcome of assassinating the king was avoided thanks to Crown Prince Do Woldaegun Lee Yeol (played by Moon Sang Min) throwing himself to stop her, but Hong Eun-jo's impulsive actions in her loss of reason will continue until her heart calms. Meanwhile, the released photos add to the sorrow by showing Hong Eun-jo accepting her father's death in a daze.
Amid the worried gaze of Shin Hae-rim (played by Han So Eun), who built a friendship with Hong Eun-jo across class differences, Hong Eun-jo simply looks at Shin Hae-rim with an empty expression. The sight of Hong Eun-jo's face without a single tear makes viewers' hearts ache even more.
Also drawing attention are royal brothers Lee Gyu (played by Ha Seok-jin) and Lee Yeol. From Lee Gyu comes an inexplicable sense of confusion, and from Lee Yeol, who faced the tragedy of his brother killing the father of the one he loves, come both resignation and guilt.
Everyone's attention turns to what lengths Nam Ji-hyun's dangerous actions will go next.
