Influencer and businesswoman Bianca Censori reportedly tried to leave her marriage several times before her husband, musician Kanye West, entered recent rehab treatment.
On the 30th (local time), People, citing multiple sources, reported that Censori said she had been very unhappy in the marriage for some time and that she had attempted to end the relationship several times even recently. The report said conflicts had accumulated before and after West's rehab treatment.
Earlier, Page Six reported in February last year that the two had entered the process of breaking up. At the time, a source said she no longer wanted to be part of this 'circus,' and pointed to controversies such as West selling T-shirts with Nazi symbols (swastikas) and his provocative exposure at the Grammy Awards as reasons for the split.
At the 67th Grammy Awards red carpet in February last year, Censori appeared wearing nothing but a completely sheer thin layer of fabric.
She originally appeared wearing a black fur coat but quickly removed it, making clear that the main outfit was nude. Her smoothly slicked-back hair and restrained makeup focused attention on her body. Viewers were shocked by a fashion that left important parts of the body fully exposed.
A person close to West later told the New York Post that West insisted she wear 'naked clothes.' The source bitterly said, 'Bianca would definitely have preferred to wear a pretty dress. If so, she would have enjoyed that evening much more.'
Fans also expressed concern that her extreme, revealing outfit was worn under her husband's 'orders.' According to a friend of West's, Censori was 'nervous' about exposing herself completely and tried to refuse his idea of a nude dress 'several times,' but he did not give up. West later posted on social media, "To be exact, on Feb. 4, 2025 my wife is the most googled person on planet Earth," expressing delight that Censori had become a topic of conversation for her nude fashion.
Afterwards West was engulfed in divorce rumors, but they denied them.
However, West amplified the fallout by including lyrics suggesting "she ran away" in his song "BIANCA," released in April 2025. The lyrics included sensitive expressions such as location tracking and panic attacks, which sparked controversy. In a later interview, West mentioned the 'bottom' state he experienced after adjusting medication and bipolar disorder, explaining the background to receiving treatment at a rehabilitation facility in Switzerland. In this process, it was also reported that Censori said she recognized the need for a direction change to achieve stabilization and sought treatment.
But the two were seen together until recently. Last week, photos of them enjoying a movie date in Los Angeles fueled reconciliation rumors. People involved said they were not completely ready to give up on each other and that they are currently in a stage of watching the situation.
Meanwhile, West and Censori married in December 2022. West has four children with ex-wife Kim Kardashian. Censori has recently continued to attract attention with provocative fashion and public appearances, drawing focus to any future changes in the couple's relationship.
