Group DJ soda (DJ SODA) revealed a "miraculous lost-and-found story" she experienced in Bangkok and expressed deep gratitude toward Thailand.
DJ SODA recently posted a long account on her social media about visiting a club in Bangkok and losing then recovering a Cartier bracelet, a luxury piece worth around 10 million won. She explained the situation, saying, "I lost a Cartier Love bracelet at the Bangkok Salone (Salone) club and didn't realize it was gone until two days later."
DJ SODA admitted, "Normally you must lock a Love bracelet before wearing it, but that day I forgot to lock it because I was wearing several bangles together." While checking photos taken afterward one by one, she noticed the bracelet was missing from a certain photo onward.
She said, "The moment I saw that photo I instinctively thought, 'Ah… I lost it here,' " and added, "I didn't expect to get it back at all." But DJ SODA shared the story on social media just in case, and with the help of local acquaintances in Bangkok and internet users who saw it, she said she received a message saying, "The bracelet was found."
DJ SODA said she was deeply moved, calling it "hard to believe; this was not mere luck but a miracle made by people." She said she gave 10,000 baht (about 400,000 won) to the club staff who found the bracelet as a token of gratitude.
DJ SODA added, "Actually this is not the first time," saying, "A year ago I left an expensive ring in a restroom at a mall in Thailand, and the next day it was returned to me." She emphasized the honesty and warmth of Thai people, saying, "They acted not because it was valuable but because they believed it should be returned to its owner."
Finally she concluded the post with the words "Love you, Thailand," saying, "Thai people are truly kind and warm. This was not simply luck but a miracle that happened because of people."
Earlier, DJ SODA caused shock last July when she confessed on social media that she lost more than 90% of her hair due to severe scalp damage during a bleaching treatment. At the time she said, "Now I think less than 10% of my total hair remains. Someone told me I look like an abused puppy," expressing painful feelings that drew much support; she later showed progress in recovery with a positive mindset.
