Kian84 revealed an unexpected award history from his past webtoon serialization days, drawing laughter.
On the 30th episode of the MBC variety show I Live Alone, Kian84 and Dowoon were shown setting out on a friendship hike up Cheonggyesan. During the hike, the two naturally brought up the topic of Korean spelling.
That day Dowoon said, "I still don't really know the difference between 돼랑 and 되," expressing his concern, and Kian84, as if he'd been waiting, confidently stepped forward. He said, "I'll tell you exactly, I serialized webtoons for 10 years. I made so many typos I learned," which drew laughter.
Then Kian84 recalled his past and made a confession that turned the studio upside down. He said, "There is something called the Naver webtoon creator 'spelling award of the year.' I never missed that for eight years. It's an award given to the creator who made the most spelling mistakes in a year," which sent the cast into fits of laughter.
Kian84 said, "I was often corrected on spelling by those people, so I can handle that much," showing an offbeat confidence, and Dowoon also nodded with a smile. The anecdote born from spelling mistakes made the hiking atmosphere even more cheerful.
Meanwhile, Kian84 was born in 1984 and is 41 this year. Dowoon was born in 1995 and is 30 this year; he plays drums in the boy band DAY6. Despite an 11-year age difference, the natural flow of their conversation provided viewers with small laughs.
