The girl group i-dle drew attention with a comeback stage and talk showcasing their skills.
i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) appeared on KBS2 The Seasons : 10CM's Pat-Pat, which aired on the 30th, and talked about their new digital single Mono (Feat. skaiwater).
That day, i-dle spectacularly opened with a band arrangement medley of hit songs TOMBOY, Queencard (Queencard), and I hate being sick. The audience followed the choreography and joined in group singing to welcome them, impressed by the members' skilled stage manners.
In the talk segment, MC Kwon Jung-yeol said, "Shuhua had a connection even before she officially debuted. She was the lead in the music video for 10cm's song 'pet'," and watched the music video scenes appearing on the screen with the members. The members gasped at Shuhua's youthful appearance, and Kwon Jung-yeol said, "Shuhua was 18," and offered thanks once again.
When asked if she had a trauma related to 10cm's songs, Minnie said, "When we were trainees living together in the dorm, Soyeon's wake-up call was 10cm sunbaenim's 'Love is at the Milky Way cafe.' Soyeon had trouble waking up, so we woke up to that song every day. I get chills whenever I hear that song," she said, drawing laughter.
Minnie, Miyeon and Soyeon then performed together for the first time as a trio. The three members received applause for passionately singing Hwasa's Good Goodbye with delicate emotional expression and distinctive tones. Kwon Jung-yeol praised them, saying, "I have always thought i-dle is a group with special voices. I felt once again how unique and strong the three voices' identities are."
Yuqi said of Mono (Feat. skaiwater), "Musically we toned it down and made it mono, but we put a lot of emphasis on the performance," and, looking at the ceiling cameras, performed a flower-blooming-like choreography with Kwon Jung-yeol that drew cheers from the audience. Afterwards, i-dle delivered intense energy with the Mono (Feat. skaiwater) stage.
i-dle released the digital single Mono (Feat. skaiwater) on the 27th and is carrying out full-fledged comeback activities; they will appear on MBC's Show! Music Core aired on the 31st to present their comeback stage.
