Blackpink will release mini album 3 [DEADLINE] at 2 p.m. on Feb. 27 (Korea time). This album is a full-group release approximately 3 years and 5 months after studio album 2 [BORN PINK].
YG Entertainment recently premiered a stylish motion graphic and a black-and-white concept teaser, announcing Blackpink's unique aura. In particular, the teaser poster featuring a pure white dress, an elegant updo and an alluring atmosphere raises global fans' heart rates with a mise-en-scène that feels like viewing a work of art.
The album title is the same "DEADLINE" as the world tour that painted the world pink over the past seven months. Blackpink connected passionately with fans worldwide through a tour held over 33 shows in 16 cities.
On this tour, Blackpink became the first K-pop female artist to enter London's Wembley Stadium and cemented their unparalleled global status by selling out stadiums in major cities around the world.
At the final concert of the tour, held at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium from the 24th to the 26th, the members said, "This year is our 10th anniversary since debut, and every moment with BLINK (the fandom name) felt like a dream," and said, "Thanks to you we were always happy and gained the strength to go further. Please look forward to our upcoming new song," as they reddened their eyes while asking fans to anticipate the forthcoming song.
