FTISLAND's Choi Minhwan collapsed during a performance after temporarily fainting from exhaustion.
On the 31st, his agency FNC Entertainment posted a notice about Choi Minhwan's health on the official fan community Weverse.
Earlier that day, FTISLAND suddenly lost consciousness while performing at "First Music Station" held at KINTEX in Ilsan, Goyang, Gyeonggi. As a result, substitute personnel were brought in and the show continued as scheduled.
Meanwhile, FNC Entertainment explained in the notice, "During today's '2026 FIRST MUSIC STATION' performance, FTISLAND member Choi Minhwan experienced a decline in condition and took a rest. The artist showed temporary signs of exhaustion during the performance and was examined by medical staff, and it has been confirmed that there are no major health issues at present."
The notice added, "He is currently getting sufficient rest and stabilization, and we are continuously monitoring his recovery. We ask fans for understanding for causing worry, and moving forward we will do our best to more closely monitor the artist's health and operate performances more cautiously. We will focus on the artist's swift recovery and stabilization."
Meanwhile, FTISLAND, of which Choi Minhwan is a member, released the new song "Answer" in November last year and also held the "2025 FTISLAND CONCERT 'FTSODE'" concert at year-end to meet with fans.
