Former S.E.S member Shoo drew attention by directly mentioning Bada's name in relation to recent rumors of cutting ties.
On the 31st, a video titled 'What happened when I sang S.E.S songs at a coin karaoke' was posted on Shoo's YouTube channel Human That's Shoo. In the video, Shoo visited a coin karaoke for the first time in her life and shared a different daily experience.
Shoo recalled, "Coin karaoke is where our i-dle used to go," adding, "In the past, when you went to a karaoke, ajummas would often add more time on their own. They thought I came alone and gave me extra time as a service." She then smiled, saying, "Back then it would take 10 minutes to choose songs from the songbook."
About the small space of coin karaoke, she also expressed awkwardness, saying, "When I usually go to karaoke I sing exciting songs and run around, but how am I supposed to run here?" She also appeared to feel a generational gap, asking, "Do kids these days sit like this to sing?"
But once the song started, the mood changed. Shoo chose S.E.S's second album title track Dreams Come True and exploded with enthusiasm, and she showed satisfaction at receiving a high score. She said, "S.E.S songs are hard to sing alone. They are songs originally sung by three people," adding, "Bada unnie's part is really high," which drew attention. When the same song came from the next room, she joked, "Maybe our song really is a classic."
After singing Fin.K.L's 'To my boyfriend,' Shoo said, "People see S.E.S and Fin.K.L as rivals, but we were actually very close," and laughed, "Fin.K.L did a lot of mainstream songs, and we had many medium-tempo songs. Back then I wanted to try being like Lee Hyori."
After finishing her first 'coin karaoke tour,' Shoo said, "It's better than I expected," and expressed satisfaction, saying, "When you want to relieve stress you sing, shake and sometimes want to cry, right? I think I'll use it from time to time."
Meanwhile, after a long hiatus, Shoo has recently been reconnecting with the public mainly through her personal YouTube channel. Ahead of resuming activities, she said, "I asked myself a lot whether I could stand in front of the camera again," and confessed, "I had a lot of cautious feelings." She added her honest feelings at the time of her return, saying, "I was nervous as if I were appearing on a broadcast for the first time with S.E.S."
