Heo Kyunghwan expressed expectations about becoming a regular cast member on a popular variety show.
On the 30th, a video titled "From today, Heo Kyunghwan's suddenly promoted catchphrase" was posted on the YouTube channel "From today Hwang Je-seong."
In the released video, Heo Kyunghwan candidly revealed his honest feelings about the recent buzz surrounding his variety show grants.
Heo Kyunghwan said, "Since 2025, the talk about 'You Quiz on the Block' and 'Hangout With Yoo' has felt a bit weaker as the new year began," and "Those who cheered then, please lend a little more support until March," he said. He added realistically, "If it still doesn't work after March, I'll accept it then."
He also said, "I understand they could say, 'Kyunghwan, we've done enough,'" while also showing a laugh-tinged regret, "Still, it feels a bit disappointing to see the enthusiasm cool. I am only human."
In the latter part of the video, when the producer asked, "Do you have any catchphrases separately prepared for the 'Hangout With Yoo' or 'You Quiz' versions?", Heo Kyunghwan pondered for a moment and mentioned "suddenly," saying, "There is something I started to do before but didn't finish." He joked about wanting to join as a regular, saying, "If you work hard at anything, it suddenly comes. So if one phone call comes saying, 'Heo Kyunghwan, join us,' that's it."
Heo Kyunghwan previously also shared his thoughts about whether he would become a regular on 'Hangout With Yoo' and 'You Quiz on the Block' through his YouTube content.
At the time he confessed, "Unfortunately, 'Hangout With Yoo' still invites me week by week, but for 'You Quiz' I have more or less given up." He added jokingly, "I'm just not asking the production team. If the public would just put in a little more effort one more time, wouldn't that work?"
