DIMO REX showcases the essence of sensory "easy listening."
DIMO REX will release his fourth single, INTOXICATED, at 6 p.m. today (30th) on various online music platforms.
If earlier songs dealt with the clash and reconciliation between the self and the world, this single probes the moment of immersion DIMO REX faces at the end of that process. A total of 7 pop R&B tracks are included, and among them "T.T.T (TATTOO TOGETHER)" and "BLESSIN" are presented as double title tracks.
The first title track, "T.T.T (TATTOO TOGETHER)," compares a relationship that has seeped into each other to a tattoo. DIMO REX's supple vocals flowing over a restrained beat are expected to capture listeners' ears.
The other title track, "BLESSIN," raises its level of completion through a collaboration with producer Code Kunst. DIMO REX's narrative is added atop Code Kunst's characteristic three-dimensional sound. The paradox of viewing indulgence as "blessing" rather than ruin is striking.
Also featured are "HOLD ON," which includes Canadian R&B artist Miles Lloyd; "TOO CLOSE," featuring the owner of a distinctive tone, Suen; DIMO REX's self-composed "I LUV U"; "ICANTLETITGO...," which represents a lonely inner self; and ending with "FADED," which contains emptiness and rest, leaving a long aftertaste from this single.
DIMO REX is a musical persona created to express Bang Yedam's free and original musical world. Last year he released distinct music such as "Resistance," "Desire" and "ACCEPTANCE." He also introduced domestically the Banger culture, which, unlike busking, allows musicians to freely express music with fellow musicians anytime and anywhere and enables anyone to participate.
