Singer Kim Sungkyu will make a solo comeback in March.
Billions announced the comeback on the 30th at 12 a.m. through its official social media accounts, releasing the scheduler for Kim Sungkyu's sixth mini album "Off the Map (OFF THE MAP)".
The revealed scheduler caught attention with a calendar image on a dark background showing the "Off the Map" schedule. On the calendar, which was otherwise empty, only Feb. 21 and March 2 each featured an image of a chair and a telescope, respectively, piquing the curiosity of global fans.
With album title and release date information veiled, the scheduler stimulated fans' imagination. Excluding various OSTs and remake songs, Kim Sungkyu releasing a solo album comes about 2 years and 8 months after his fifth mini album "2023 S/S Collection," which was released in June 2023. With that previous work, which captured his colorful summer mood, he swept various global charts and proved his worth as a vocalist representing Korea.
In addition to the scheduler released that day, a separate "Off the Map" Instagram promotion account has been releasing mysterious images whose meanings cannot be pinned down, further raising fans' expectations.
