BABYMONSTER confirmed an appearance on a music show thanks to the popularity surge of the challenge for the track 'Really Like You' from their first full-length album [DRIP].
On the 30th, according to YG Entertainment, BABYMONSTER will perform 'Really Like You' on Mnet's 'M Countdown' airing on Feb. 5. It is a special stage arranged to repay the unexpected love the members wanted to return and because of growing signs of a notable music chart rebound that added love calls.
In fact, 'Really Like You' has recently stood out on various platforms. It took first place on TikTok Korea's Music Viral 50 chart, ranked 68 on Spotify's Daily Top Songs, and after re-entering major domestic music charts such as YouTube Music and Melon it is breaking its highest records. On China's largest short-form platform Douyin the related keyword rose to fourth place, and on Japan's Line Music K-pop chart it climbed into the top 50, showing global popularity.
Through this 'M Countdown' appearance, BABYMONSTER will deliver a warm, excitement-filled stage. Since the live performance they showcased at last December's Japan fan concert was praised as "the discovery of a new K-pop winter season song" and served as a catalyst for popularity, they plan to respond with a performance full of BABYMONSTER's winter sensibility.
