Singer and actor Son Dam-bi candidly talked about how her husband changed after the birth.
In a video released on the 30th on the DambiXon YouTube channel, Son Dam-bi opened up about postpartum hair loss, which she had found difficult to talk about, and also shared updates on parenting.
While playing with her daughter Hae-i that day, Son Dam-bi asked the production staff, "Producer, do you play with your son a lot?" The staff laughed and said, "We tend to raise them relatively freely." Hearing that, Son Dam-bi said, "It seems many fathers are more free-range," and naturally brought up her husband Lee Gyu-hyuk.
She said, "My husband once told me, 'I'm awkward at expressing myself, so I don't know how to act with our daughter,'" and added, "When he talks to the baby his voice goes up in tone and he mixes in baby talk, but at first he was very awkward." She continued, "These days he speaks to our daughter in a voice almost as cutesy as mine. Seeing that I thought, 'So fathers change like this too,'" she said, beaming.
