KBS 2TV 'The boss's ear is a donkey's ear' (directed by Choi Seung-hee / hereafter 'Sadanggwi') is a self-reflective program in which bosses in Korea voluntarily practice empathy to create workplaces worth working in. On Feb. 1 (Sun), 'Sadanggwi' will feature ATEEZ's San as a special MC, filling the show with nonstop chatter and cheerfulness.
Among them, KBS 51st class rookie announcers Lee Sang-chul, Shim Soo-hyun, and Park Hyo-jin's 'news impromptu live review meeting' follows amid tension. Faced with emergency situations unfolding during the live broadcast, the composure of the rookie announcers prompts Park Myung Soo to say, "I think it'll go well," continuing his admiration.
Then Kim Sook summons Jun Hyun-moo's announcer days, saying to Jun Hyun-moo, "There are rumors you wrote apology statements every month." Jun Hyun-moo, smiling, recalls the past and corrects the exaggerated(?) rumor by saying, "I didn't write them every month," and adds, "I did write them every season," displaying the grandeur of the KBS apology statement encyclopedia. Jun Hyun-moo says, "There was a time I ate pizza and cola in the announcer's room and then went to deliver radio news," adding, "I said, 'This is KBS news.' and then I burped. I wrote in the apology statement, 'I will not burp again,'" as he shares the dizzying experience.
But soon after, Kim Jin-woong, who admired Jun Hyun-moo as an apology-statement expert, delivers a three-minute speech on 'Jun Hyun-moo,' pleasing him. Kim Jin-woong compares Jun Hyun-moo to Michael Jordan, saying, "The greatest player in basketball history, Michael Jordan, he was the goat. But there is a man who is entering the goat ranks as an announcer. That man is Jun Hyun-moo," beginning his speech. Senior and junior announcers burst into laughter, but Jun Hyun-moo nods with a broad smile.
Jun Hyun-moo asks, "Am I Michael Jordan?" and soon after expresses great satisfaction, repeatedly interjecting, "Good, good." Then when a senior announcer evaluates Kim Jin-woong by saying, "The content is likeability and dislikeability soda," Jun Hyun-moo agrees, saying, "That's the charm of our part. Between likeability and dislikeability," announcing the birth of the 'Jun Hyun-moo line.'
Then Jun Hyun-moo expresses his views on 'marriage' through his three-minute speech. Jun Hyun-moo says, "The ancient Sumerians left inscriptions. Marriage is enjoyable. But divorce is more enjoyable," adding, "I don't know whether it's better to do it or not, but marriage should be approached with caution. I'll be cautious and announce my wedding news on 'Sadanggwi'," revealing the presence that has risen to become Korea's top MC and earning applause from his juniors, according to reports.
The program will reveal, in the main broadcast of 'Sadanggwi,' what the past and present of Jun Hyun-moo, who is rising to the goat ranks as an announcer, look like.
