Actor Kim Tae-hee's older sister's APT. was seized by the National Health Insurance Service and later released.
On the 30th, one media outlet reported that the National Health Insurance Service seized an APT. in Oksoo-dong, Seoul, Morning Ville Hannam unit 1 with an exclusive area of 208.14㎡ (68 pyeong) owned by Kim Tae-hee's sister, a person surnamed Kim, on the 29th of last month and released it on the 19th.
This APT. was purchased by Kim Tae-hee in 2006 for 980 million won and then gifted to her sister, a person surnamed Kim, in 2016. The current asking price is reported to be at least 3 billion won.
Kim Tae-hee worked at Rua Entertainment, led by her sister, a person surnamed Kim, for about nine years starting in 2010. After Kim Tae-hee moved agencies, the sister changed the company name to Rua Asset in August 2019 and removed entertainment management from the company's business purposes, adding overseas real estate investment·development instead.
Regarding this, Kim Tae-hee's side said, "Kim Tae-hee's sister, a person surnamed Kim, resides in the United States," and noted, "She comes to Korea occasionally, and this happened because she did not know about the overdue health insurance payments. It has nothing to do with Kim Tae-hee."
Meanwhile, Kim Tae-hee married singer and actor Bi in 2017 and has two daughters.
