Broadcaster Kim Gu Ra's son, singer GREE, appeared on Radio Star four hours after being discharged from the Marine Corps.

In the video, with Kim Won-jun, Cho Hye-lyeon, Hanhae and GREE appearing, GREE, wearing a Marine Corps uniform, said, "I received orders to finish my military service and return to the arms of my beloved parents. I hereby report. Pilseung!" and reported his discharge to Kim Gu Ra.
Kim Gu Ra's close friend Cho Hye-lyeon burst into tears on his behalf, and GREE, saying "Father, I love you!," performed a deep bow in the studio, creating a touching moment. The emotional reunion between father and son was short-lived, as GREE dissed his father, saying, "Those doing alternative service and active-duty think differently." Kim Gu Ra angrily replied, "Your mental state is rotten," and GREE declared, "I won't be associated with you from today on," drawing laughter.
Meanwhile, GREE enlisted voluntarily in the Marine Corps on July 29, 2024, served in the artillery brigade of the 2nd Division, and was discharged on the 28th.
