Weather caster Bae Hye-ji is leaving the KBS she grew fond of.
On the 30th, Bae Hye-ji wrote on her social account, "Tomorrow I will present the last weather as a KBS weather caster."
Bae Hye-ji said, "When it becomes 4 a.m., my eyes snap open, and someday I might miss it so much that I pull up broadcast videos," and added, "I met my beloved husband at KBS, and I met precious senior and junior colleagues whom I relied on in good times and bad. I sincerely thank everyone with whom I shared laughs and built memories along the way."
She continued, "The descriptor 'KBS weather caster' that used to precede my name felt very reassuring and I was truly grateful. At the same time, as a freelancer, if that descriptor cannot be eternal, I have kept asking what kind of person Bae Hye-ji can exist as, and I am still searching for that answer. So I will try to muster courage. I will leave a familiar place and try to challenge myself a little more freely, a little recklessly."
Meanwhile, Bae Hye-ji joined KBS as a weather caster in 2017.
