Basketball player Lee Kwan-hee came under fire for remarks in a YouTube video. The video was eventually set to private. In connection with this, internet users' mixed reactions are drawing attention.
As of the 30th, the YouTube channel '농구선수갓관희' has taken down the video "Want to watch a review of 'Single's Inferno 5' together?" that was uploaded on the 27th. It appears the video was removed after a specific scene rapidly spread through online communities and social media and the controversy grew.
In the video, while reviewing 'Single's Inferno 5', Lee Kwan-hee mentioned panelist Hong Jin Kyung. He said something to the effect of, "She doesn't seem to know much about dating, so it makes me angry that she talks about dating," and when Younha-bin, who was with him, said, "She's married and even has children, doesn't she?" he shot back, "Does being married make her better than me? I'm going to get married too."
Afterward he added, "I can understand the other panelists, but I don't understand Hong Jin Kyung," and "I don't think she knows more about dating than I do," and even though Younha-bin drew a line, saying, "That's unrelated to me," he repeated similar remarks.
When the remarks spread, reactions were divided.
