Singer Kim Jong Kook spoke directly about his wife.
On the 29th, Jun Hyun-moo appeared as a guest on KBS 2TV Problem Child in House. After leaving his position as a KBS announcer and declaring himself freelance, Jun Hyun-moo won the top prize at the entertainment awards at his alma mater KBS last year, 13 years later.
When asked about marriage, Jun Hyun-moo said, "I will be 50 the day after tomorrow. I am very confused," and asked, "So I wanted to ask Jong Kook hyung. He is one year older than me, and he was originally unmarried, so I am curious whether he met a good person and then got married, or whether he was already thinking about marriage and then met that person."
Kim Jong Kook answered, "I always had the idea that I had to get married," and said, "I decided to marry in the way I had ideally imagined."
Kim Sook asked, "Was that person the one who appeared at that time?" and Kim Jong Kook explained that he had known his wife even before they dated. Jun Hyun-moo asked, "She was a female friend, but did she suddenly look like a woman?" and Kim Jong Kook explained why his female friend became his wife, saying, "She was like a younger sister, but in a moment I thought, 'If I marry this person, I would be so happy and it would be great.'"
Meanwhile, Kim Jong Kook married a non-celebrity woman on Sept. 5 last year, and the ceremony, from guests to venue and schedule, was carried out in strict secrecy, attracting attention. In particular, the fact that his wife's identity was kept tightly hidden aroused curiosity.
