Broadcaster Kim Na-young gave an expensive gift to a staff member.
On the 28th, a video titled "A collection zip of Na-young's daily life these days — cooking, work and dating all done diligently" was uploaded to Kim Na-young's nofilterTV channel.
That day Kim Na-young organized storybooks to pass on to a staff member's young daughter. She said, "I gathered the storybooks Shin Woo and Lee Joon used to read when they were babies at our house to give to So-yi. I'm so glad there is someone to share them with."
Later, on the day the staff member visited her home, Kim Na-young handed over the organized storybooks and joked, "Give them to So-yi. I brought books I don't read anymore because I'm older," adding, "This kind of thing is so great. She needs to study English. How long are you going to just babble?"
She asked, "Look at this, what's here? Can you take this?" and the staff member replied, "I'll need a taxi." Meanwhile, the staff member found an Hermès box tucked between the storybooks and playfully asked, "What's this?"
Kim Na-young burst out laughing and said, "Was it too sloppy? Did you see it when you came in earlier?" The staff member said, "I saw it halfway through. What is it? Is it for So-yi?" Then Kim Na-young revealed it was a birthday gift, saying, "Happy birthday."
The staff member said, "There's still a week left," and Kim Na-young explained, "Exactly. Since we wouldn't see each other in that time, I'm giving it early." After receiving the gift, the staff member said, "Even a surprise like this... with how busy you are..." then opened the packaging and let out a scream of joy.
She said, "Can I accept this?" and, "If you tear the plastic, there's no refund. It's so pretty," clearly delighted. Trying on the bag on the spot, the staff member was complimented by Kim Na-young, who said, "It suits you well," and the staff member excitedly said, "So-yi, mom got a bag!" creating a heartwarming moment.
