The group 8TURN showcased a highly polished comeback stage that organically wove together sound and performance.
8TURN (Jaeyun, Myeongho, Minho, Yunseong, Haemin, Gyeongmin, Yungyu, Seunghun) opened the door to full-scale activities by appearing on cable channel Mnet's 'M Countdown', which aired on the afternoon of the 29th, to give the first live performance of their new digital single "BRUISE (불씨)".
That day's stage drew attention with a structure that materialized hybrid rock sound through performance. The stage, which began with a powerful guitar riff, maintained taut tension from the start and instantly imprinted the song's mood. In particular, the signature choreography called the "headache dance" conveyed the song's emotion intuitively and drew attention. Movements that gripped the head and used the upper body dramatically clearly revealed the anxiety, obsession and wavering emotions contained in the song.
The complex choreography that actively used the eight-member large-group structure was also impressive. The formation lines, which unfolded as members synced together as if the spark were gradually spreading, visually expanded the song's narrative. The broad, sweeping lines of the dance also added a sense of speed and openness throughout the stage, and the group proved its completeness by maintaining tight synchronization even amid precise formation changes.
8TURN completed a performance with clear dynamics through the interplay of stomping and powerful moves and smooth waves. The choreography that exploded in time with the intensifying sound left the impression of transferring the song's emotional amplitude directly onto the stage. Added to this were the members' rough yet delicate vocal tones, stable expressiveness and intensely focused gazes, which raised the performance's level of completion.
"BRUISE (불씨)" is a song that depicts the traces left as the feeling of love spreads like a fire. From the emotion's beginning to its rise and the lingering aftereffects at the end, everything connected naturally within the choreography and sound flow to form a single stage. From their first broadcast, 8TURN showcased dense group choreography and structural performance, imprinting an even more evolved stage presence through "BRUISE (불씨)".
8TURN released the new digital single "BRUISE (불씨)" on the 28th and will continue active promotions through various music shows. On Feb. 27 and 28, they will hold the 2026 8TURN fan concert [TURN TABLE : ETERNAL FLAME] at Nodeul Island Live House in Seoul to meet fans.
