KBS prepared an exhibition featuring child viewers called "My drawing at KBS".
The exhibition "My drawing at KBS," organized by the KBS viewer services department, is a children's participatory exhibition for elementary school students, and a total of 27 works sent by 19 children will be displayed on the large LED signage in the viewer plaza of the KBS main building in Yeouido, Seoul.
This exhibition contains drawings themed on KBS and drawings on free topics regardless of artistic skill, and is especially composed of works that entertainingly express, in each child's own way, stories and feelings about KBS programs that children like, such as "2 Days & 1 Night" and "MUSIC BANK".
This exhibition, which displays the young artists' self-introductions and descriptions of their drawings alongside their works, reflects KBS's desire to approach children as a friendlier and more open public broadcaster.
Jung Hyun-kyung, the PD who planned the exhibition, said, "I hope this becomes a meaningful exhibition that newly recalls the 'role of public broadcasting' through KBS seen from children's perspectives."
The "My drawing at KBS" exhibition runs from the 30th through Feb. 8 and is open daily from 12 p.m. to 8 p.m. Participating children will receive a KBS limited-edition gift set, and visitors who come to the site will be given small gifts.
