2-member band Acoustic Collabo's vocalist Mo Su-jin has passed away, and team member Kim Seung-jae mourned the deceased.
Kim Seung-jae posted on his SNS on the 28th, writing, "We met in 2019 and until 2026 we met as many as seven days a week, at least once a week; my closest companion," and posted a message of condolence.
He recalled the deceased, saying, "I agree that there will be no one who knows Kim Seung-jae as well as she did. She taught me happiness and gave me the strength to live my life."
He added, "She made me think hundreds and thousands of times whether she would have lived a happier life if she hadn't met me. Every time I meet her I feel that she is not a friend hanging out and acting silly with me here, and you always made me feel both sorry and grateful."
Finally, he added, "My colleague, comrade, soul mate who is wholly on my side more than anyone in the world. I love you, my younger sibling," which made the moment more poignant.
Earlier, on the 27th Acoustic Collabo said, "We are sorry to bring such sad and heartbreaking news. Acoustic Collabo vocalist Mo Su-jin left us on the 25th," in a statement.
The agency appealed, "The bereaved family is in deep sorrow over this sudden bereavement. According to the wishes of the bereaved family, detailed information including the cause of death will not be disclosed, so we ask for your understanding. We also politely ask you to refrain from unfounded speculation or spreading rumors."
