KARA's Heo Yeong announced an official split from her biological sister, Heo Song-yeon.
On the 28th, the "Heo sisters" channel uploaded a video titled "Heo sisters' official split declaration (feat. empty house camping) — emotional in the latter part."
That day Heo Yeong spent her last night in the house where she had lived with her biological sister, Heo Song-yeon. Heo Yeong asked, "Did Iyoo ask why we met like this today?" and Heo Song-yeon explained, "I moved recently. The two of us are now living separately. We're living apart," adding, "I moved all my things out a few days ago."
The house shown afterward was completely empty with all the belongings gone. Heo Yeong said, "This is the last time I'm spending in this house," and added, "We'll live well; thank you for the past four years," as a farewell. Heo Song-yeon said, "Thank you for bringing so many good things here," and Heo Yeong suddenly showed a choked-up moment, saying, "Sister, live well."
She then said, "We should now tell you why we came here," and Heo Song-yeon said, "When will the two of us have another chance to sleep together?" as she explained their plan to spend the last night together.
Heo Yeong asked, "Did you get permission from brother-in-law to stay out overnight?" and Heo Song-yeon replied, "He seemed to like it. Why is he so happy? He was like, 'What are you going to do and play?,'" which drew laughter.
The two set up a tent in the empty living room and lay down. Seeing the excited Heo Song-yeon, Heo Yeong said, "Sister, why are you so excited? Are you excited because you left the house? Brother's excited, you're excited; isn't this why we have to live separately?" and Heo Song-yeon showed affection, saying, "No. It's because I'm with you."
They ordered delivery food and ate. Heo Song-yeon said, "I liked this house," and Heo Yeong explained why she was leaving, saying, "Me too. But I don't want to live alone in this house without you." Heo Song-yeon added, "The contract is over."
Heo Yeong said, "What I liked about this house is that everything went well, so it feels like I'm leaving on a high note. I bought good electronics. I said I'd give them when I got married. To be honest, I thought there was more falsehood in that statement because I didn't think you would leave. I bought them new saying I'd use them for a long time," and confessed, "You left after getting married; if you're happy, I have nothing more to wish for now."
Heo Song-yeon replied, "There are many things to wish for," and reminisced, "But we stayed in this house for quite a long time. We were here since '21." Heo Yeong said, "That's right. That's why I even had KARA's comeback here. There really were a lot of things. After moving in here I did what I wanted to do, as KARA. We did 'Heo sisters' and got you married," and added honestly, "When I was living here with my sister, I thought I would go first."
Then Heo Yeong suddenly became choked up and said, "I just don't know. I think I lived well with my sister." She cried, saying, "I can't do without my sister," and Heo Song-yeon comforted her, "Don't cry, live well." Heo Yeong also cheered, "You live well too, sister."
Finally, Heo Song-yeon said to subscribers, "I think it's good to casually show these small sides of us without pressure," and Heo Yeong greeted, "That's right. It will probably make you comfortable, and you'll like that kind of side. Even though my sister and I are separating, we'll continue as the Heo sisters together, everyone. We'll live well. We love you."
