The late news of the death of Mo Su-jin, vocalist of the band Acoustic Collabo, was belatedly reported, and member Kim Seung-jae deleted a memorial post.
Earlier, on the 28th, Kim Seung-jae posted several photos and a long message on his social media remembering the late Mo Su-jin.
First, Kim Seung-jae wrote, "We met in 2019 and until 2026 we met as often as seven days a week or at least once a week—my closest partner," and added, "I agree that there is probably no one who knows Kim Seung-jae as well as you do. You taught me happiness and gave me the strength to live my life."
Kim Seung-jae continued, "You make me wonder hundreds or thousands of times whether I would have lived a happier life if I had not met you. Every time we met I felt that you were not a friend who would be 'here with me,' which always made me feel sorry and grateful," and said, "My colleague, comrade, soulmate who is wholly on my side more than anyone else in the world. I love you, my younger sibling," conveying his deep feelings.
However, on the afternoon of the 29th, Kim Seung-jae suddenly deleted the memorial post. He left only a message saying, "I didn't know this post would spread like this, so I'm taking it down," and removed the post from the previous day. He did, however, leave the photos taken with the late Mo Su-jin in place, expressing unchanged feelings.
According to the agency Panic Button, Mo Su-jin died on the 25th. She was 27 years old.
The news of the late Mo Su-jin's death was belatedly reported on the 27th. Panic Button said, "We are sorry to bring such a sad and tragic news. Acoustic Collabo vocalist Mo Su-jin left us on the 25th. The bereaved family is in deep grief over the sudden loss. At the request of the bereaved family, we will not disclose detailed information including the cause of death, so we ask for your understanding." The agency also asked that people refrain from spreading baseless speculation and rumors.
The funeral service was held at 10:30 a.m. on the 28th at Namyangju Eden Memorial Park.
The late Mo Su-jin was born in 1999 and began preparing as a singer as an idol trainee. She later began activities as the vocalist of Acoustic Collabo with Kim Seung-jae from 2019. The late artist also performed solo activities under the name Cloudy and last June released a solo single titled "Your Universe."
