From Kim Ha-on to Mili, appearances by historically talented performers have been promised.
Today (29) at 9:20 p.m., Mnet's Show Me the Money 12 episode 3 will continue the still-unfinished crucible "60-second rap mission." With Show Me the Money 12 ranking first for two consecutive weeks in FUNdex's TV institutional sector hot topic rankings by Good Data Corporation, even more diverse and powerful stages are expected to follow, raising anticipation.
This 60-second rap mission is heating up with fierce competition from rookies to named and global rappers, to the point where it is being called "the most stylistically diverse among all seasons." The 60-second rap stages by skilled rookie rappers who showed impressive performances in previous a cappella rap missions, such as Noseon, Royal 44, and Milimax, are expected to capture attention. The performances of rookies who earned all passes in the crucible are expected to stand out more than ever.
The counterattacks from named rappers are formidable as well. In particular, Kim Ha-on, the winner of High School Rapper 2, has raised expectations by announcing he will enter the crucible stage. Thailand superstar Mili, who gave chills from her first appearance, and FlowSik, who has thrown his hat back into Show Me the Money, among other global rappers, are also drawing attention over whether they can hold onto the throne amid fierce pursuit from rookies.
Especially ahead of episode 3, some of the global contestants' 60-second rap mission stages were pre-released, adding to the excitement. Stages by DK, Steel J Cark (.J.Cark), Weds Atlas, and Jeong Jun-hyeok, who passed with all passes, as well as parts of yet-unreleased stages by Double Down, Mili, Red Eye, and JB, have been unveiled. Mili even left a comment on the video herself saying, "Mili is here. Please cheer for me a lot," drawing a strong response.
Viewer reactions are steadily increasing. Especially praising the skills of rappers newly spotlighted through Show Me the Money 12, such as Trae V and Jeong Jun-hyeok, comments continue like, "You can feel star quality," "They killed it," and "A stage that makes you look forward to the single." Responses to the global rappers, such as "fresh" and "definitely different," have continued, heightening anticipation for the broadcast.
Show Me the Money 12 airs every Thursday at 9:20 p.m. on Mnet and TVING. The TVING original Yaksha: Ruthless Operations is released exclusively on TVING at 12 p.m. every Saturday, two days after the main broadcast.
