SM Entertainment (hereafter SM)'s male trainee team SMTR25 unveils itself with "Reply: High School."
On Feb. 13, Mnet's "Reply: High School" features SMTR25 enrolling in the fictional school "Ujeong High" and, as a time-slip reality variety program, experiencing K-culture from the 1990s through the 2010s firsthand while seeking the answer to their debut; the program has also attracted significant attention as a special collaboration between SM and Eggiscoming.
SM has officially said that a major new boy group will debut this year, amplifying curiosity about who the new faces will be; with SMTR25 expected to be among them, curiosity and anticipation are pouring in for this variety debut rite of passage where they will fully unveil themselves.
In particular, Hamin, who first appeared through the 30th anniversary brand film "THE CULTURE" earlier in 2025 and gained a nickname amid intense buzz, and Nicholas, along with Hanbi, Songha, Danielle, Hyunjun, Kassho, Justin, Haruta, Kachin and Tata — who left a strong impression with SM's 30th anniversary tribute performance and an EXO "Wolf" cover on stages such as "SMTOWN LIVE 2025," "2025 TIMA" and "2025 KGMA" — have already drawn reactions from global music fans.
Joining them are previously unreleased trainees Jaewon, Woolin, Sadaharu and Charlie, bringing SMTR25 to a total of 15 members; through this program they will show not only stage charisma but also the fresh atmosphere and teamwork of trainees, dormitory and school life, and harmless everyday moments, taking a step closer to debut, which raises further anticipation.
Meanwhile, "Reply: High School" will premiere on Feb. 13 at 8:20 p.m. on Mnet and Mnet Plus; it will also be available abroad via True Visions and True Visions Now in Thailand, Abema TV and KNTV in Japan, Friday Video in Taiwan, Kocowa in the Americas/Europe (excluding Russia), Oceania and the Middle East, and We TV in global regions (excluding Korea, China, Japan and Thailand).
