Rookie boy band AxMxP achieved a career-high first-week sales figure, proving their growth.
On the 28th, Hanteo Chart, South Korea's largest album sales tracking site, reported that AxMxP's mini album 1st 'Amplify My Way' recorded first-week sales of 86,232 copies, which sum album sales for one week from the release date.
This figure surpassed the first-week sales of their previous work, the debut album and full-length 1st 'AxMxP,' and AxMxP proved their growth by setting a new personal best following their previous release, which had ranked first in all-time band debut album first-week sales. In particular, because this comeback occurred at breakneck speed about four months after debut, the markedly improved performance in a short time raises greater expectations for the future.
AxMxP's mini album 1st 'Amplify My Way,' released on the 21st, is an album that tells the story of youth finding the shape of their dreams at their own pace. Rather than conforming to the world's standards, it puts confidence front and center, raising the inner volume to move forward "as myself" and proudly stretching out my own path.
Having successfully completed the first week of promotion with the recent title track 'PASS' and achieved career-high results, AxMxP has started a pleasant comeback period and will continue to act as a next-generation band contender through various music shows and diverse content.
