Actor Seo Ji-hoon will enlist for active duty with the Army's 35th Infantry Division on Feb. 3 after finishing filming the Netflix series All of Us Are Dead 2.
Seo plans to enter quietly on the day of enlistment without a separate official event, and after receiving basic military training at the training center he plans to faithfully fulfill his defense duties. "All of Us Are Dead 2" aims to be released in about two years, so it will meet the public even after military service.
Since debuting with a strong impression through the drama Signal, Seo Ji-hoon has continued steady work as a lead in School 2017, BTS drama Begins Youth, My Youth and others. He is evaluated as having firmly impressed his presence on numerous fans and the public by handling various genres and characters.
Having proven his warm visuals and deep acting range in various works and receiving great love, Seo Ji-hoon has now decided to enlist to fulfill his defense duty as a man of Korea.
Through his agency Management Gu, Seo Ji-hoon said, "I feel much more at ease to finish filming well and enlist. I will faithfully carry out my duties as a citizen of the Republic of Korea and return stronger."
Management Gu said, "We hope Seo Ji-hoon safely and healthily completes his military service, and we ask for your continued support and warm encouragement."
Meanwhile, Seo Ji-hoon plans to fully resume activities as an actor after completing his military service.
