The film "Project Y" has attracted attention for its sensuous OST, and a limited-edition LP will be released.
On the 28th, the film "Project Y" (director Lee Hwan, presented by Plus M Entertainment·Fencher Invest Co., Ltd., distributed by Plus M Entertainment, planned by Wowpoint (WOWPOINT)·Climax Studio, produced by Climax Studio·Wowpoint (WOWPOINT), co-produced by Plus M Entertainment) said it will release a limited-edition LP album following the OST digital single.
The limited-edition LP of "Project Y" catches the eye with its intense hot pink color and visual covers of Miseon (Han So-hee) and Dokyung (Jeon Jong-seo) roaming the night streets. Under the direction of hip-hop musician and producer Gray (GRAY), the film's OST was completed to vividly bring the film's emotions and characters' narratives to life, enhancing immersion and drawing attention. In particular, tracks featuring performances by Korea's representative charismatic vocalists Hwasa, Kim Wan Sun, Devita, Hoody, and Ahn Shin-ae spanned a wide range of genres from jazz R&B to city pop, richly filling the film with a broad spectrum.
This LP is composed of a total of 19 tracks, promising the pleasure of savoring the musical narrative. SIDE A contains the vocal tracks that define the film's impressions, featuring Hwasa, Kim Wan Sun, Devita, Hoody, and Ahn Shin-ae, while SIDE B is expected to be filled with score-centered tracks arranged by music director Gray so listeners can naturally feel the emotions of the film's narrative.
Actual audience members who watched the film also poured out praise for the music that enhanced the film's listening experience, saying, "I especially liked the OST that blends with the film's atmosphere" (CGV, A***), "The music's sophistication is amazing.." (CGV, So******), and "I liked the OST so much I wanted to see it once more in a theater with good sound" (CGV, Jam**********).
Director Lee Hwan, who directed "Project Y," said he asked music director Gray for "cinematic and vintage mood music," so the OST experienced on LP is expected to become another way to feel the film's charm. The limited-edition LP, which will be officially released on Feb. 6, goes on pre-sale today (the 28th) starting at 11 a.m.
