CORTIS is expanding its influence in the global gaming industry.
CORTIS (Martin, James, Juhun, Sunghyun, Geonho)'s debut album intro track "GO!" has been included on the original soundtrack for season 4 of NBA 2K's latest title, "NBA 2K26." This inclusion was made possible by a proposal from "NBA 2K." "NBA 2K" is a popular game series that uses the license of the National Basketball Association (NBA) and surpassed 150 million cumulative sales last year. The game releases an official soundtrack each season that reflects current trends. Because it is exposed to millions of users through in-game features as well as playlists on Apple Music and Spotify, it is called the gateway to a "global hit." Previously, music by hip-hop heavyweights such as Kendrick Lamar and Tyler, The Creator were included on that soundtrack.
Epic Games, Inc.'s global popular shooting game "Fortnite" also features the audio and part of the choreography of "GO!." On the 22nd, a dance emote using the song was released. This is a short animation feature where a game character dances to the music. K-pop songs released previously include BTS's "Dynamite" and TOMORROW X TOGETHER's "Over The Moon."
Such intense love calls stem from the global success of "GO!." The song reached 100 million streams in the shortest time among K-pop boy-group songs released on Spotify last year and entered major song charts including the Billboard "Global 200." Collaborations with "big-name" brands followed. Major League Baseball (MLB) used the song in a postseason promotional video last year. Apple recently showed a performance video of "GO!" through Apple Immersive Video, indicating strong interest.
"GO!" is a track on which all members participated in lyrics, composition, choreography, and music video production. That makes these global achievements even more special. Attention is focused on the future moves of CORTIS, the "young creator crew" that is creating a global stir with their collaboratively created work.
