Actor Ahn Yoo-jung opened up about marriage rumors that surfaced during drama filming.
On the 28th, at a press conference for the short drama "Her Dazzling Secret" held at a cafe in Gangnam-gu, Seoul, actors Ahn Yoo-jung and Cha Yoo-hyun attended and spoke.
"Her Dazzling Secret" is a 78-episode emotional romance short drama that depicts the process of a contractual relationship that began as a sham marriage developing into real love, and will be released simultaneously through NetShort and LilShort. In this work, actor Ahn Yoo-jung, who appeared on "Love Catcher in Bali," takes on the lead role of Jang Yu-na for her first full-scale acting challenge, and Cha Yoo-hyun plays Lee Seo-jin, drawing attention as her first leading role in a short drama.
Preparing for "Her Dazzling Secret," Ahn Yoo-jung said the area she focused on most was, "This was my first work, and I concentrated on acting properly." She noted, "As the lead, I think I tried hard not to break the flow. I also had many conversations on set so my reactions and emotions would come through equally, and I tried to follow the director's direction well."
In particular, Ahn Yoo-jung sparked marriage rumors after posting a wedding dress photo taken while filming this work. The rumors caused even more of a stir because she is publicly dating broadcaster Yoo Byungjae.
Asked whether the marriage rumors were embarrassing, Ahn Yoo-jung said, "I didn't think such stories would arise when I posted it, but looking back after some time, I can see how people might think that. I didn't write about the project."
She added, "On the contrary, I thought it was a good opportunity to show the drama scenes one more time through that photo."
Meanwhile, the short drama "Her Dazzling Secret" premieres today (28th) at 5 p.m.
