'Exorcism idol' Jang Hyunseung has announced an A/S fan signing event.
On the 28th, the YouTube channel 'MUNMYEONG TTEUKGEUP' posted a notice titled "Jang Hyunseung A/S fan signing."
The channel said, "We will hold an in-person A/S fan signing for Jang Hyunseung, who has returned with ecological eyes," and added, "It is a joint fan signing with Jaejae. Jang Hyunseung will greet you with ecological eyes," drawing attention.
Jang Hyunseung debuted as a member of Beast in 2009, but after continuous attitude controversies that drew fans' ire, he officially left the group in April of that year in 2016.
Afterward, Jang Hyunseung enlisted for active duty in the army in 2018 and completed his military service. He left Cube Entertainment Corp. in 2020 and in 2022 signed an exclusive contract with MainField, known as rapper Swings's company, and promoted an album under the stage name 'ABLE'.
In particular, he recently continued active communication with fans and showed a different attitude than during his activities with Beast, earning netizens the nickname "exorcism idol."
In relation to this, when he appeared on 'MUNMYEONG TTEUKGEUP' he reacted with puzzlement to an eyewitness account that "they always had a cool expression and a straight face," asking, "Why was that?" In addition, when complaints about his fan-signing attitude poured in — "I asked, 'Are you tired?' and he answered 'Yes,' and that was the entirety of the conversation that day," "I asked if he was sick and he said his heart hurts. Was it sorer than my bank account?" — he showed remorse, saying, "I was rude," and, "I hurt people. I shouldn't have done that. I'm sorry. I was wrong," which drew attention.
Meanwhile, Jang Hyunseung recently moved to MPLIFY under Warner Music Korea and is continuing activities as a solo singer.<
