Pop star Taylor Swift is furious that private messages she exchanged with a close actress were made public.
On the 26th (local time), Page Six reported that Swift is feeling great anger after private text messages she exchanged with Blake Lively were revealed as she becomes embroiled in a legal battle with Justin Baldoni.
A source told Us Weekly, "It has honestly been a really hard time for Taylor. As her texts were exposed to the world, she suddenly felt like something personal was no longer hers, and she felt exposed and violated. That is not okay for her at all."
Ahead of a summary judgment hearing in the recent lawsuit between Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni, the judge disclosed several text messages between Swift and Lively. They revealed what Swift actually felt about Baldoni and how the friendship between her and Lively had changed.
According to court documents, before the New York Times exposé was published, Swift sent Lively a message saying, "This guy (Baldoni) seems to know something is coming. So he probably pulled out a little violin."
Lively texted Swift, calling Baldoni, the director and co-star of the film 'It Ends With Us,' "the stupid director of my movie." In those documents, Baldoni's lawyers claim Lively asked Swift in April 2023 to support Lively's revised script without even reading it, and that Swift responded favorably.
The documents also state that after Swift supported Lively's revised script at a meeting with Baldoni held at Lively's apartment, Lively sent Swift the following text.
According to the report, the text read, "Today you were narratively heroic. You summarized every moment for Ryan Reynolds. I kept thinking about it. How you made up the lens story with me. And how you called yourself my doll. This clown believed it all. But at the same time resisted. You are truly the best friend in the world."
Another document revealed tense text exchanges between Swift and Lively, who were once close friends, in which they discussed the changed dynamics of their friendship. Lively said she felt like a "bad friend" to Swift and asked, "Is everything okay?"
Swift said Lively was not acting like her usual self and that she missed "the friend who used to speak to me as herself—funny, dark, and ordinary, a friend who spoke as one person, not as plural like 'we.'"
Page Six reported, "Lively acknowledged that Swift was right, and after several additional text exchanges it appeared they resolved the issue."
Blake Lively has been in a legal dispute since 2024 with director and actor Justin Baldoni, with whom she worked on the film 'It Ends With Us.'
