A mysterious illness that shook her face, and two years of painful time. Finally, Brandi Glanville appeared before the public with a changed face.
Reality star and The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills alum Brandi Glanville (53) shared an update last weekend on her social media, revealing a more stabilized facial condition. Wearing a hat and a sleeveless top in front of the camera, she drew attention with smoother skin and a noticeably softened appearance.
In the post, Glanville thanked the plastic surgeon who helped with her recovery, writing, "Thank you for helping with the Sundance Film Festival schedule and preparations for official events." Fans flooded responses such as "Glad you look healthy" and "It seems like the Brandi from before is back."
This change is even more dramatic when recalling the facial disfigurement battle she endured over the past two years. Glanville previously claimed her facial disfigurement was due to "parasitic infection" and confessed she spent more than $130,000 (about 170 million won) to treat it. She sought more than 20 medical professionals during the treatment process and once said she found it difficult to go out because of severe anxiety and depression.
In particular, she revealed she once attempted self-treatment and suffered chemical burns on her face, a dangerous choice that shocked many. Because insurance did not cover it, medical expenses ballooned like a snowball, and she also said she "used up all her savings," describing financial hardship.
Only recently did she say she received an official diagnosis, but she has not disclosed the exact name of the disease. She said, "Various problems are acting in combination," and explained, "There is still a long way to go until full recovery." Even so, she said, "Just the fact that I finally got an answer has given me hope."
Meanwhile, Glanville has slowly been appearing at official events, including attending a documentary screening in Park City, Utah, recently. Appearing with platinum blonde hair and bold styling, she indicated she is ready to stand before the camera again after a long battle with illness.
