Comedian Kim Ji-seon revealed the reason why a restaurant that had been famous as a 'Daehak-ro favorite' closed.
On the 23rd, a new video was released on the YouTube channel "Eommshow" titled "The three Daehak-ro tteokbokki places recognized by moms for whom tteokbokki is soul food."
That day, Eom Ji-in and Kim Ji-seon wandered around Daehak-ro, lost in memories. Kim Ji-seon, who said she was a Daehak-ro native, said, "When I think of Daehak-ro, I met my husband here. When my husband was running a shop in Daehak-ro, he was company friends with my younger sister and sister-in-law."
Kim Ji-seon explained, "They were friends from work, but the cousin-in-law was in the U.S., so they decided to meet him. He happened to come to Korea to meet, but I was too busy. Taking advantage of my busy schedule, he went on a blind date with someone else and it worked out."
She continued, "The person I was supposed to meet disappeared. So my sister-in-law surely said she would set up a blind date, but she asked, 'Sister, would you meet our real older brother?'" revealing how she first met her husband.
At that moment, Kim Ji-seon pointed to a shop and said, "This was the site of our old shop," and Eom Ji-in said, "Was it here? This place was that good. Why did the price of squid go up?"
Kim Ji-seon said, "It was really delicious. The price of squid went up sixfold, so there was no way we could handle it," and she conveyed that this was ultimately the reason it closed.
Meanwhile, Kim Ji-seon married a man her age in 2003 and has three sons and one daughter.
