Actor Yoo Yeon-seok said he felt alienated because he couldn't join conversations between his highly educated father and his older brother.
On the 27th episode of SBS' If there's a chance,' the appearance of Yu Jae-seok and Yoo Yeon-seok visiting Bongcheon-dong was shown.
That day Yu Jae-seok said, "Isn't Bongcheon-dong near Seoul National University? In short, it's a place you could never come to because of academics," and Yoo Yeon-seok explained, "I lived in this area when I was young. Because of my father."
Yoo Yeon-seok's father is known to be an engineering professor who graduated from Seoul National University. He said, "I lived there during my doctorate," and recounted that he once lived near Seoul National University.
Then Yu Jae-seok mentioned the educational DNA, saying, "Yeon-seok's family is a bit—doesn't your older brother study really well?" Yoo Yeon-seok is from the Gangnam eight-school district, and he had revealed that his older brother also works as a math instructor. Yoo Yeon-seok candidly said, "Both of them are in engineering, so when they talk I have nothing to say," which drew laughter.
He then asked, "Do you have memories, hyung?" and Yu Jae-seok said, "I had a friend in Bongcheon-dong so we used to make expeditions from Suyu-ri to here. Back when we had no money, we just kept wandering around. Endlessly," which provoked hearty laughter.
