TV CHOSUN 'Modern biographical history Mr. Lee' has completed reorganization and returns at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8. Girls' Day Yura joins as a new member.
'Modern biographical history Mr. Lee' is a talk show that listens to the lives of famous people who marked a span of modern and contemporary Korean history and the stories hidden behind them through the mouths of prominent figures from various fields. Last season's MC 'entertainment godfather' Lee Kyung-kyu will join the new season as well.
In particular, this season attracts attention as Yura, a member of the girl group Girls' Day who is also active as an actress, newly joins. In the first recording, Yura naturally participated with her distinctive affability, and according to reports she stood her ground confidently even against MC Lee Kyung-kyu's 'outburst' (?) and fully played the role of the young blood of the 'MZ generation who speaks her mind.'
Yura said, "As a longtime listener, I am honored to join as an MC. I can newly learn facts I did not know and accumulate knowledge in various fields, so I look forward to the next recording. As an actor with a student's mindset and from the viewers' perspective, I will ask questions from various viewpoints and try to convey the interesting stories of the figures."
Not only Yura but also 'the cool-headed lawyer' Kim Tae-hyun, 'the young blood of Korea's historical academia' Kim Jaewon, and 'a financial expert who has both looks and knowledge' Kim Hyun-woo will join the new season. The production team said, "We plan to illuminate figures and events three-dimensionally by adding analysis from expert panelists and vivid testimony to the experiences Lee Kyung-kyu unfolds," and added, "With the bright and friendly Yura joining, we will deliver stories that can resonate with a wider range of viewers," asking for much anticipation.
Led by top Korean entertainer MC Lee Kyung-kyu and all-rounder Yura, the TV CHOSUN talk show 'Modern biographical history Mr. Lee' will air at 9 p.m. on Sunday, Feb. 8.
