i-dle (Miyeon, Minnie, Soyeon, Yuqi, Shuhua) will release their new digital single Mono (Feat. skaiwater) at 6 p.m. on the 27th through various music sites and begin their first full-group activities of the year.
Mono (Feat. skaiwater) is a song that expresses the message of turning away from others' gazes and listening more closely to one's own essence using i-dle's own musical language. The minimally revealed sound and sophisticated visuals previously released piqued the curiosity of domestic and international listeners, and the music video teaser rose to the top ranks of QQ Music's Korean music video chart in China, proving its buzz even before release.
It is also noteworthy that this new song is the first time i-dle collaborated with an outside artist on a group track since their debut. British rapper skaiwater, whose voice has a strong addictive quality, participated in the feature, showing new musical synergy with i-dle.
In the third concept photo released prior to the song's release, the monotone images of each member and the photos of their hands clasped together conveyed the song's meaning. The music video is expected to offer even more striking visuals, including dynamic performances with a mega crew.

Q. Please explain what kind of song Mono (Feat. skaiwater) is and what the listening points are.
Minnie: It's a song that means removing all effects and focusing on the essence. I hope you focus on the addictive melody and the good lyrics when you listen.
Soyeon: It's a minimal yet i-dle-colored song. I think it would be good if you concentrate on the styling only i-dle can do and the vocals with individuality that only i-dle can offer. The lyrics are also very attractive.
Shuhua: This song isn't complicated, so it will be felt just as it is. I think it will be a song whose feelings are conveyed sufficiently even without explaining it in words.
Q. How do you feel about returning to group activities in Korea after a long time since last year's mini album No. 8 We are?
Miyeon: I'm excited and looking forward to it. I hope 2026 will be a year when we can show many stages and great music!
Minnie: I'm so excited and want to show this great song to Neverland quickly. We've prepared the performance hard, so I hope you'll look on it kindly.
Yuqi: I'm so excited! We'll do our best. I hope it goes well. It's truly a great song and a cool concept.
Q. While preparing Mono (Feat. skaiwater), which parts did each of you pay the most attention to?
Miyeon: Since it's a minimal song, I thought visuals and vocals that draw more focus were important, so I tried to prepare with extra care on those parts.
Minnie: I remember endlessly revising parts and re-recording repeatedly until the voice that fit best came out. We all prepared the performance hard, and I noticeably removed my bangs for a refreshing change in visuals. I also worked out hard.
Soyeon: We mainly presented flashy songs as titles, but this time we challenged a newly minimal song.
Yuqi: We prepared a performance with a different style than before. There were many parts where we really had to synchronize well with the dancers, so we practiced hard!
Shuhua: I think I paid a lot of attention to pronunciation so that the meaning of the English lyrics could be conveyed well.
Q. Rapper skaiwater, who has recently been drawing attention in the overseas hip-hop scene, participated in the featuring. What kind of chemistry do you expect?
Soyeon: I thought skaiwater's bias-free clothing style and lyrics fit very well with i-dle. I hope it becomes great music.
Q. Are there any memorable episodes from filming the Mono (Feat. skaiwater) music video or points not to miss?
Miyeon: It was really enjoyable matching beats with the dancers. Because we filmed a lot together, it felt like one team. I'm really grateful.
Minnie: We filmed with foreign dancers, and they were all very unique and cute. Among them there was also a Thai person, so I made a new friend. Every scene from beginning to end is a point you can't miss!
Soyeon: I hope you pay close attention to our individual movements and what is expressed within them on the black-and-white footage shot without color.
Yuqi: It was fun to shoot because it felt like dancing physically for the first time in a while. The music and the music video are very minimal, which I personally really liked.
Shuhua: During the mega crew performance sections, members appear here and there, so don't miss them and be sure to look for them!
Q. How do you feel about the fourth world tour starting with your February Seoul concerts?
Soyeon: We're really preparing the world tour earnestly. We plan to show a very different nuance and very different performances from previous concerts. We rearranged all the songs. I hope many people come.
Yuqi: There are many stages I want to show soon. We're preparing hard so I hope you'll wait for them with excitement. Please come a lot!
